Who We Are
Our Mission is to empower exceptional people of All gender identities on their path to discovering their best-singing selves through education, competition, mutual support, and inclusive fellowship.
The Alliance is part of the Greater Central Ohio Chapter of the Barbershop Harmony Society. We are an all-voices chorus dedicated to providing an inclusive environment for all those who love to sing, regardless of their race, gender identity, sexual orientation or musical background. The Alliance is the first and only all-voices barbershop chorus in Central Ohio.
Our Director
Brian O’Dell
Brian has been a part of The Alliance Chorus since the very first rehearsal in 1999, singing bass and at times being the bass section leader. Barbershop has been his "hobby" of choice since 1983. Singing in many choruses and quartets around Ohio and the US. Brian took a brief hiatus from the chorus in 2014, returning in 2018. In that time he kept busy studying to become a Certified Performance judge and coaching both locally and in various locations in Europe, Australia, and New Zealand.

Zac Robison
Zac Robison has been a barbershopper for almost 30 years, starting at the ripe age of 9. Zac is currently a member of The Alliance and Prism. He is currently the baritone for the 2024 JAD Open Division Quartet Champion, Intermission. He's also sung with Eclipse (2013 JAD Novice Champs), ICON, and Top Shelf (2019 JAD 5th Place Medalist).
Outside of barbershop, Zac is a board member and performer with Licking County Players, a non-profit community theater in Newark, OH. He is a CANS Assessor and Community Liaison for the Franklin County Family and Children First Council. Zac lives in Newark, OH with his wife, Rebekah, and their Siberian husky, Eowyn.
