ACQ

Chris Boron, Jason Rosensteel, Zac Robison, Brian O’Dell

ACQ, or Alliance Chapter Quartet, is together again for yet another Alliance show. This pick-up quartet has appeared on several previous chapter shows but always with a slightly different composition. The current foursome, Chris, Jason, Zac, and Brian, are long time members of the chorus. Tonight, they will be revisiting two songs that used to be staples in The Alliance's repertoire.

Coffee Talk

Maggie Dudrow, Janinie Gray, Jason Rosensteel, John Dudrow

Coffee Talk is a freshly brewed barbershop quartet with a blend of smooth harmonies and a whole latte fun! Maggie, Janine, Jason, and John are no strangers to barbershop, but are excited to make their debut performance tonight as a new chapter quartet of the Alliance.

Performance Check

Annie Liu, Sarah Taylor, Stephanie Cowan, Daniel Breitfeller

Performance Check informally began around the time of the 2023 Alliance Holiday Show while singing some tags. Stephanie and Sarah laid the grand scheme as the middle, and heart, of the quartet. They recruited Annie for their effortless tenor and the one who keeps the quartet on track. They then decided Dan might be a good fit on bass; Whose famous first and last words were, "I'm just happy to be here". With zero-to-minimal prior quartet experience, they registered with the Barbershop Harmony Society in early 2024 on a mission to learn and grow as singers and performers.

They chose the name Performance Check based on their love of barbershop, big personalities, and affinity for Dungeons & Dragons. Performance Check has continued as a chapter quartet having a great time singing on Alliance Chorus shows and for the Land of Legend barbershop chorus in Newark. The hard working and talented Leslie Dowler, tenor of Intermission quartet, is stepping in as tenor tonight as Annie fulfills prior commitments!

Crosstown

Paul Russell, Tim Cogley, Marti Hibbard, Michael Gilmore

Crosstown is the 2024 Senior Quartet champion of the Johnny Appleseed District. We come from several compass points around the Columbus metro area, hence our name. We enjoy performing together and know you will enjoy tonight’s show

Intermission

Leslie Dowler, Alexa Ankrom, Zac Robison, Jake Bavarsky

Intermission was formed in Spring 2024 and competed for the first time at the JAD Fall Contest. Much to their collective surprise, they walked away from that contest as the 2024 JAD 3rd Place Quartet and Open Quartet Champion. Since then, Intermission has performed alongside The Alliance chorus at their chapter shows while continuing to prepare for their next contest opportunity.
