Baritone – Kerry Conrad

Kerry has been a member since 1983 when he came to a Fostoria Chapter guest night. During that evening he was pulled aside and taught the “Run to City of Refuge” tag and has been hooked ever since. He’s been in several quartets over the years, 1 of which was a JAD 3rd place Quartet Medalist (Archive – 1997) and 2 of which were champions (Odds On – 2004 and Speakeasy – 2017) He has been fortunate to compete on the International stage 5 times with his quartets and several times with the Voices of Harmony and Men of Independence. One of his favorite barbershopping things though is that he got to “pass the bug” to his daughters and is so proud of their 2 “Top 3” Rising Star International placements! Kerry has a child’s dream of a job where he gets to “play with dirt” all day as Senior Soils Lab Manager and gets paid for it instead of getting into trouble! Kerry lives with his lovely wife Amy, where they are soon to be “empty nesters”…….well except for their 4 cats…….in Risingsun, OH

Tenor – Larry White

Hailing from Wooster, Ohio, Larry is definitely the older but wiser member of Icon! Throughout his musical career he has been a member of the Wooster Wayneaires, the Canton Hall of Fame, and Singing Buckeye Chapters! Larry participated in many of his local community’s talent shows and was a member and co-founder of the Wayne County Choral Union. While singing in many quartets before Icon, this quartet holds a special meaning for Larry by getting to sing the high part along side of his nephew doing all that low stuff!
