Members of the Alliance can expect the Alliance leadership to:

  • provide a consistent and comfortable meeting location, safe environment and inclusive

    culture which is conducive to singing, learning, vulnerability and camaraderie.

  • Create, maintain, clearly and consistently communicate and enforce musical quality

    control standards.

  • Provide opportunities for personal growth and enrichment of singing and performance

    skills.

  • provide interesting, appropriate and challenging music.

  • ensure that clear, consistent, relevant and timely communication is executed on all

    matters relevant to the membership.

  • provide opportunities for members to fulfill their personal financial and performance

    obligations to the organization.

  • respectfully provide opportunities for members to give/receive feedback to/from

    leadership.

Expectations of the Alliance

Members of the Alliance will be expected to:

  • Enthusiastically attend all rehearsals, performances and events to which they’ve

    committed.

  • Arrive prepared to fully contribute, or have communicated in advance with leadership in

    the rare events that obstacles may have prevented this.

  • Fulfill their annual personal financial obligations to the Alliance.

  • Serve in functional organizational roles to support the logistics of chorus operation

    according to member preference, expertise or organizational need.

  • Respectfully provide/receive feedback to/from leadership via appropriate channels at

    appropriate times/venues.
