Our director, Brian O'Dell, has been a part of The Alliance Chorus since the very first rehearsal in 1999, singing bass and at times being the bass section leader. Barbershop has been his "hobby" of choice since 1983. Singing in many choruses and quartets around Ohio and the US. Brian took a brief hiatus from the chorus in 2014, returning in 2018. In that time he kept busy studying to become a Certified Performance judge and coaching both locally and in various locations in Europe, Australia, and New Zealand. The biggest milestone, though, was that his quartet, Forefront, was competing heavily and won the international quartet championship in 2016. A busy few years indeed.
